Ashtanga Yoga, Anyone?

I've always wondered what made Yoga an effective exercise to stay fit. Last week, thanks to Carmela Verayo, the charming and hard-working lady behind Vera Studios, I had the chance to find out!

She set me up for a one-on-one session with Ashtanga yoga instructor Daphne Paruli, who provided a two-hour session. Within minutes, I was already drenched in sweat and literally felt the toxins come out of my body.

Ashtanga is an advanced form of yoga that promises to bring you into a state of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. It involves the synchronization and alignment of movement and breath that produces intense internal heat causing you to sweat and detoxify the muscles and organs. By executing a series of progressive postures, you can improve circulation and feel your body become lighter and stronger, and most importantly, calm the mind and relieve it of unwanted stress.

Of course, Vera Studios was the perfect venue for our session! It's perfect for all types of workshops, seminars, and photoshoots!

I think I have found my perfect workout! I'm hooked!

If you are interested in trying this type of yoga out,
