#SeeSinulogUpClose with the ASUS Zenfones

For the longest time, I had been hearing rave reviews about the ASUS Zenfones but it wasn't until sometime mid-last year when I had the opportunity to attend their launching events that I finally got to try some of their products myself! And I must say I've only had positive things to say about my experiences using their products. They are sleek, they are beautifully crafted, and yes! they have amazing features. Check out my review of the ASUS Zenfone Selfie in a previous post HERE

The thing I love most about the ASUS brand is their aggressive pursuit of melding quality and  affordability -not the easiest thing to do and yet, surprisingly the 26-year old Taiwanese computer and electronic hardware company has been able to do just that with their incredible ZENFONE SERIES. In fact, my experience with the ASUS Zenfone Laser 2 has been nothing short of amazing, and yet incredibly, it retails for only P13,999. No wonder,  it was voted Smartphone of the Year for 2015 by the country's leading technology bloggers!

Then early this month, the ASUS team was at it again, introducing two new Zenfones -the Zenfone Max and the Zenfone Zoom -in Cebu, timing the twin launch with the biggest, most colorful Philippine festival -none other than Sinulog 2016! Talk about starting the year with a bang and making their presence felt! ASUS certainly knows how to get people's attention and, more importantly, deliver the goods!

No less than the country manager of Asus Philippines, George Su, flew in from Taiwan to talk about the new ZENFONES to invited media and other guests at the lunch event at the Marriott Hotel in Cebu.

And what better way to capture this Sinulog experience and share it with you guys than with ASUS' new line of amazing smartphones? I was able to put the cameras of the new Zenfone Max and Zenfone Zoom to the test!

The Zenfone Max (PHP8,495.00) is built with a 13MP PixelMaster camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens for taking high-quality photos with no shutter lag!

Here are the awesome photos I was able to capture with the Zenfone Max:

Everything from the foreground to the background came out clear!
Love how vibrant the colors of the photos are!

Aside from taking vibrant, high-quality photos, the ASUS Zenfone Max also boasts of the following features:
  • Maximum productivity and multimedia entertainment powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor
  • Built with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 which offers the ZenFone Max’s twice (2x) the drop-damage resistance of its predecessor, a 2.5x increase in retained strength and is 85% less likely to break in daily use
  • A simpler, smarter, more personalized ZenUI experience

But the best feature that the Zenfone Max has to offer is that it has a 5000mAh battery that allows charge upto 38 days! The night before I headed to Cebu for a two day trip, I fully-charged the phone and even after coming home it's battery life was still at 80%! It can also be used as a powerbank for your other gadgets by simply connecting the Zenfone Max to another gadget through a small double-sided USB port.

Now, let’s go to ASUS’ latest pride and joy! The ASUS Zenfone Zoom!

The Zenfone Zoom (PHP26,995.00) is built with 13MP PixelMaster camera that automatically enhances your photos with its DSLR-like optical image stabilization (OIS)! The smartphone also boasts of being the world’s thinnest smartphone that allows 3X optical-zoom by 28-84mm focal length with an innovative 10-element HOYA lens for crisp and clear details!

Check out my Sinulog experience captured by the ASUS Zenfone Zoom:

The next three photos from the parade came out clear despite all the movement and dancing

The ASUS Zenfone Zoom is also built with the following features:
·         The Zenfone Zoom’s camera channels a classic form of a traditional professional camera housed by an ultra-thin 5mm metallic body
·         Built with the Sonic Master 2.0 which allows for incredible sound making it the smartphone with the clearest and loudest sound
·         Supreme speed of Category 4+ LTE that allows you to share your awesome photos on-the-go wherever you go
·         Powered with a 3000mAh battery and ASUS BoostMaster’s super-fast, 3.6x accelerated charging for less waiting time and more shooting with 3x optical-zoom
·         Level-up your Zenfone Zoom with the wide range of accessories created for the phone like the LolliFlash and the ZenCase

So, need I say more? Sinulog was definitely the perfect place to try out the new ASUS Zenfone Zoom and the ASUS Zenfone Max! Loved how all my photos turned out!

Try the ASUS Zenfone Max and ASUS Zenfone Zoom for yourself for PHP8,495.00 and PHP26,995.00!
