#SeeThePhilippinesUpClose: Shooting at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar with the ASUS Zenfone Zoom

You may recall that last January, I first put the ASUS Zenfone Zoom to the test by attending the Sinulog 2016 festival in Cebu. Since then, the Zenfone Zoom has been an important tool for me in taking photos anytime, anywhere no matter what the circumstance. You can check out my full review of the Zenfone Zoom from my Sinulog trip HERE.

Here's a quick run down of the Zenfone Zoom's features:

The Zenfone Zoom (PHP26,995.00) is built with 13MP PixelMaster camera that automatically enhances your photos with its DSLR-like optical image stabilization (OIS)! The smartphone also boasts of being the world’s thinnest smartphone that allows 3X optical-zoom by 28-84mm focal length with an innovative 10-element HOYA lens for crisp and clear details!

The ASUS Zenfone Zoom is also built with the following features:
·         The Zenfone Zoom’s camera channels a classic form of a traditional professional camera housed by an ultra-thin 5mm metallic body
·         Built with the Sonic Master 2.0 which allows for incredible sound making it the smartphone with the clearest and loudest sound
·         Supreme speed of Category 4+ LTE that allows you to share your awesome photos on-the-go wherever you go
·         Powered with a 3000mAh battery and ASUS BoostMaster’s super-fast, 3.6x accelerated charging for less waiting time and more shooting with 3x optical-zoom
·         Level-up your Zenfone Zoom with the wide range of accessories created for the phone like the LolliFlash and the ZenCase

So, what happens when you put a groundbreaking smartphone in the hands of an ace photographer? You get incredible, life-like photos with amazing clarity and rich distinctive details.

That's exactly what happened last weekend when ASUS Philippines introduced the brand ambassador of the new ASUS Zenfone Zoom in the person of renowned professional photographer and visual artist extraordinaire, Shaira Luna, with the end in mind of taking the mobile photography experience up several notches.

I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers invited to the exclusive media event held at the picturesque Las Casas Filipinas de Azucar in Bagac, Bataan, where Shaira was officially welcomed by the attendees and introduced as the Brand Ambassador of the ASUS ZenFone Zoom, and after which, fired away on what she proudly proclaims to what has been a “mind-blowing and incredible smartphone photography experience with the ZenFone Zoom”.

Upon arriving at the this picturesque location:

Shortly after giving personal tips on how to maximize the ZenFone Zoom’s various features and technical modes, Luna then challenged the media in attendance to put their newfound knowledge and skills to the test in a photography challenge with the architecture, texture and natural landscapes of Las Casas Filipinas de Azucar as the subject and backdrop of their photos.

Here below are the photos I took with my ASUS Zenfone Zoom!

Everything from the foreground to the background is still so clear!

It was definitely the perfect way to continue the #SeeThePhilippinesUpClose campaign of ASUS! Just look at these stunning photos! No need for any bulky DSLR's or Mirror-less Cameras when you travel, all you need is the Zenfone Zoom and you're good to go in taking lovely photos wherever you go and no matter what the circumstance! Overall, it's easy to get used to, manipulate to match the environment you're in, and there are tons of pre-sets available to you!
I can't wait to travel a lot more and "See the Philippine Up Close" with my ASUS Zenfone Zoom!
