AZALEA BAGUIO: Your Home Away From Home

Last May 17, I had the most wonderful opportunity to have been invited along with fellow bloggers for a staycation at the AZALEA HOTEL & RESIDENCES at one of the cities I frequently visited as a kid- Baguio!

Baguio is known as the summer capital of the Philippines and is frequently visited by local and foreign tourists for its chilly mountain climate, pine trees, quaint cafes, museums, and lots of golf! So, of course I was excited to be back in Baguio after a long time!

Upon arriving at AZALEA, I immediately fell in love with the hotel's charming facade, modern with a quaint rustic vibe. I loved that it is located in a peaceful, quiet hilly enclave near the Teachers Campeven if it's just a 10- minute drive away from the city's bustling shopping and dining district.

I shared a Two-Bedroom Suite with two blogger friends, Cha Ocampo and Kat Valdez. It was  homey and spacious with lots of closet space - perfect for three girls who decided to pack heavily for a three-day trip! Of course, the first thing I did was jump into one of the beds and it didn't disappoint! I just immediately felt my body sink into the soft, luxurious sheets!

Everything you'll need for a long stay you'll find in this room. The living area  has a huge comfortable couch perfect for welcoming guests or just lounging around and watching cable movies on the big flat screen TV. The fully functioning kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, and stove, a coffee station and all the utensils you'll need to cook and dine. Our suite had a queensized bed in each room and  a bathroom each with all the usual amenities. You'll also love that the suite has a balcony with a lovely view of the city. Just make sure to request for a room in one of the higher floors!

Another thing that I enjoyed during our stay was the FOOD! At the first floor of the hotel, you'll find the Tradisyon Restaurant which serves a variety of delicious dishes and different cuisines to suit your daily cravings.
