RIESELING RESORT: A Whole New Side of Boracay!

Boracay is best known as the go-to getaway for party lovers who want a fun adventure of bar hopping, drinking, and partying while still being able to enjoy the beautiful white sand beach and vast clear blue seas of the island. Boracay has easily become known for its wild and crazy night life and beach parties that can be likened to Spain's Ibiza and  Miami's South Beach.

But for people seeking serenity and relaxation, a place where you can actually enjoy the beach and lounge about in the sand with nothing but the sound of the waves for music, there's a little not-so-secret piece of paradise not too far from the island's party scene. I'm talking about the RIESELING BORACAY BEACH RESORT

RIESELING is located along Bulabog Beach which is about a 15 minute shuttle ride from White Beach, the main party scene of Boracay.

It offers a quiet and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Boracay while still being able to enjoy its clear waters and powdery white sand.

During our four day stay at the resort, I stayed at their amazing Ocean-view Premiere Suite with a queen sized bed all to myself! It had the most amazing 180- degree view of the beach front and the resorts pool from the room's wrap around balcony.

My room had the rustic beach house ambience but was spacious, and had all the modern amenities one would expect of a first class resort - cable TV, mini-bar, WiFi, a hot and cold shower, and air conditioning.

But what I loved most about my room is that it was pretty much a 30-second walk from the resort's quiet and serene beach front. Hardly no one passes by the beach front so my blogger buddies and I really felt like we had the island all to ourselves! It was perfect for picture-talking and for doing fun water activities with the group.

What made our experience even more memorable were the very sweet, entertaining, solicitous, and accommodating owners of the resort - four lovely sisters who truly know how to take splendid care of their guests! From the splendid accommodations to the superb food to the warm hospitality and providing all the little extras one would surely appreciate when you go on a trip like this - there's really nothing more one could ask for.

And of course, a very special thank you goes to Melo Villareal of Out Of Town Blog for inviting me and organizing this awesome trip!

It was definitely the most relaxing experience I've ever had in Boracay! I truly recommend it for people who just want to enjoy the beautiful beach of Boracay without the craziness and commercialism that has invaded the Island. It's like having the best of both worlds with Boracay's main night life area  practically next door!
