Rieseling Beach Resort: My Home In Boracay

In the days of old, people went to the beach to relax, commune with nature, enjoy some quiet alone time away from the maddening crowds and hectic city life, the better to unwind, de-stress, detox, and rejuvenate. Someone told me there was a time when Boracay was the place to do all that - well, that is until the urbanites - this one included - descended upon it and made it one of the world's biggest party places.

Thankfully, as I have recently discovered, some of that old Boracay actually still exists. It's a little piece of paradise called RIESELING BORACAY, where one can still retreat from the party scene and still enjoy the sunkissed powdery white sand and glorious blue waters of Boracay minus the blaring party music, the souvenir and water gear hawkers plying their trade, and the sea of humanhood blocking the ocean view and making it extremely difficult to take that bikini shot with only the sand and sea as your backdrop. Rieseling Boracay is the next best thing to having your own private beach getaway. Here you can cavort on the sand, soak in the sun, and let the waves tickle your toes without fear of getting trampled on as you would if you did the same anywhere else in the island.

That's why for my past two visits to Boracay, I've been visiting Rieseling and I'm pretty sure I'll be coming back really soon! It's become #myhomeinboracay. And the best part is, it's only five minutes away from White Beach (where the party scene is) so it's really like having the best of both worlds. You guys can check out my last blog post at Rieseling, HERE.
